I was also trying to look for the manufactures website and come up with nothing. I know they are produced in Japan and imported / distrubited by a company in Upstate New York.

Sorry, I don't think you will be able to order it online. If you live in the NY metro area, they have them in Jas Mart, Sunrise Mart, H Mart, H&Y Mart, and Mitsuwa in NJ.

The combined companies will focus on providing a better, more comprehensive experience for users interested in downloading, watching and sharing content, and will offer new opportunities for professional content owners to distribute their work to reach a vast new audience.

The new design is exactly what I was asking for, but I cant see it replacing twitter for news. Facebook is very diluted with features; where as twiiter has only one function, making it very simple and easy to use. It's good however, that my twitter steam can now be properly imported into fb's live feed :)
